Care and Handling of Your Fine Art Print
Your fine art print is printed on archival Hahnemühle Baryta FB Paper. A museum coating has been applied to protect against fingerprints and damage from spills/humidity and to ensure longevity.
Proper handling is one of the easiest and most effective ways to prevent damage. Taking preventive measures is the best defense in protecting the value of your print.
Each print comes with a 1" border for handling and to protect from accidental bumps or falls.
Always use the included white cotton gloves when handling your print.
When picking up your print, always use both hands and ensure the back is supported so it does not bend.
The surface of your print can be damaged by sliding prints against each other and placing objects on top of them.
Never hang or exhibit your print in direct sunlight.
Try to avoid extremes of heat and humidity.
When storing your print, lay flat and keep out of damp and hot spaces. It is best to keep them at a constant temperature.
Make sure you take your print to a framer that is experienced in handling photographs and knows archival framing. It is recommended to use museum-quality glass when framing for reduced glare and UV protection.
Care for your fine art print is essential to preserve its quality and value. Following these steps, you can ensure that your print will last for many years to come!
